NCSU?? en...I do not know...

I do not understand why our library attempted to unsubscribe some electronic database due to the limitation of budget while they had enough money to purchase tons of expensive Mac Airs and Ipads for rental service.
I do not understand why staff give tickets outside the gym at 4:55pm (free parking after 5pm).

I do not understand why the computer science department constantly lack funding while we are sitting at one of the powerhouses of IT technology in U.S.

If we can not find a leader with ambition and capability to bring us to a newlevel, please, at least get someone who did not spend big and save small.

GOOGLE, APPLE, MICROSOFT, who is more likely to win the game?

I have to say it is really hard to tell considering that IT technologies are developing so fast. Setting one wrong direction is more than enough to change everything.

Google attempts to give you whatever you need, for free, and make Google a life style. Once you are on it, Google can be your mater by knowing you and everyone else. Something rang the bell?

Apple is just like a model girlfriend. Looks good, feels good to have, and of course, is more costly than others. But the question is how long she can keep her body as hot as now?

Microsoft is a legend. But until few years ago, someone there still believed that a good operation system can rule everything. They are obviously need a new leader know what is happening now.

a time to outsource to other countries?

As reported by media, a Foxconn manufacture plant in south china had 11 workmen committing suicides continuously in past few weeks. They are all in their teenage, and the youngest one is only 19 year old. So what are the things bothering them such that they would rather giving up their lives? Someone says an agent against Foxconn is behind, and others say the workmen were humiliated by the manager of flow lines.

From years ago, chines people from rural area rush into cities with the hope of better life by their hard working. But will that really happen? If more and more Chinese labor realize that it is not worth to work 12 hours a day, 6 days per week for that little money, is it a time to outsource to other countries like Vietnam?

To young people

One day, I was asked by a young that which things he should study on, besides his school work. I told him "anything you can think of, actually, anything you will take serious and like to fill with your passion". Then he asked to list some characteristics which I may appreciate from the young in high school. I have to say there are many, but most important ones, from my opinion, are:

1. 强健的体魄. (Health)
2. 团队精神. (Teamwork)
3. 对生命的尊重,对人性的尊重,对每个人与生俱来的各种权利的尊重. (respect of others)
4. 良好的生活习惯. (enjoy your life)
5. 懂得思考问题,尝试解决问题. (think and conquer)
